Okay, please don't take this the wrong way but I have noticed a lot of year 7 girls doing this dance behind male teachers' back. It usually has the hands on top of the head but when the teacher looks, they quickly stop.

    Anybody know what this is?

Why not just ask them what they are doing. They may not respond but at least they are aware you saw them.

No idea, but thanks for the warning. Usually if a "trend" begins in one school it quickly shows up in others.

Call them out on it and ask. Let us know!

If you're concerned it's something a bit weird, it might be worth mentioning to a head of year/pastoral leader to address. It won't be nice to be that male teacher so would be good to stop it before it becomes widespread in your school.
