    Hi all,

Apologies if a similar question has already been asked - I had a quick look and couldn't see anything.

I am due to start training in September in Chemistry (School Direct route). I have an assessment day in a couple of weeks down in London for the Royal Society of Chemistry's teaching scholarship (which is very exciting!). I wondered whether there is anyone here who has been awarded this scholarship (or similar, perhaps from IOP?) and could give their thoughts on the experience, whether there is any extra work to do through the year, the support provided by the RSC mentor, etc. I have of course seen all of the promotional material from the RSC, but it's always worth getting someone's real life anecdotes, rather than just the advertising!

    Thanks in advance,
