We're trying to speed up changing and improve efficiency at the start of lessons. The school has 50m lessons so it has to be snappy as its a decent walk to the pitches. Anybody had similar experiences? Advice please...

Not sure what activity you are doing as you don't say, but early on in the series of lessons, I would teach some useful skill practices or small mini games and, from then on, when they children arrive at the pitch allow them to collect equipment straight away and practice (sensibly) on a skill/mini game of their choice. Do the register as they warm up and then call in to begin the lesson.

If you have 2 staff on duty, have 1 supervising changing, the other on the field. As they change, allow them to go straight out to the field and begin the above. That way the quick changers aren't slowed down by the slow changers. Once all are out and changed, register done during activity, begin the lesson proper.
