    And as the school closed within a couple of days of opening it's unlikely the one infected person caught Covid in the school. According to WHO website "the time between exposure to the virus (becoming infected) and symptom onset, is on average 5-6 days,".

    What a surprise. Over 30 people in a badly ventilated room with no social distancing or masks and infection is rising.

    All year 7 pupils at a Salford High School have to self isolate until 18th September. Full details on Manchester Evening News site

    Update on Rocester 100 pupils are isolating. In the Grim North problems with 3 schools in Manchester and eight in Liverpool.In Wigan Trust Dean Trust School all year 8 have been sent home for a couple weeks.

    A year 8 and Year 11 student at King Edwards Five Ways in Birmingham have covid, 'hundreds' of students quarantining for 14 days.

    It was all so predictable.

    French lady on news was saying that France has a real issue now that the infections are getting to old folk and the hospitals are filling up again. Nationwide lockdown in France soon I think.

    I understand that governments are trying to get the economy open. I do not understand why anyone thinks that anything is going to change until a vaccine is injected into the arms of everyone and that could be years.

    Mass unemployment, empty city centres and the end of mass cheap flights are with us now.
