Can anyone recommend any programmable robots that are good for teaching students programming. I quite like the mbots but wondered if anyone has had any success with any others.

Hi brownjolICT, what age are you aiming for? I have seen some great ones at the BETT show last year called Cubetto - an upgraded/improved version of BeeBots in that the users have to place direction shapes onto an interface board before pressing play. Extension can be made through the use of loops. If you're aiming for KS2, these would be perfect (I'd get some myself if I had the budget!). Good luck!
