Rising Obesity

    Sadly, enough people voted for the party that supports business interests above those of the people that vote them in and you get what you voted for.
    Knowing how to feed yourself properly, is in my view, just as important, if not more, as being able to communicate effectively in English, be numerate and have a smattering in science.
    I don't personally think food has a place in D&T. It deserves a subject area of it's own and should be compulsory.
    There isn't any amount of knowledge of when and where to place an apostrophe, how to talk in proper grammar or be proficient in calculus that will keep me alive if ulltimately, I can't cook for myself and have an understanding whether what I eat is healthy for me or not.
