    Me too. I've just listened to the tribute programme on radio 4 - Derrick Nimmo, Clement Freud, Kenneth Williams - so many voices and names from my past.

    Thank you for that. It would have been fascinating if it had been possible for him to go into more detail about what made the watch so special, but I suspect that to tell the full story in intricate detail would take as long as it took to make it.

    What came across though, was Nicholas Parson's warmth of character and professionalism as a presenter, even when he was 92.
