Not Archer ?- Damn
This was my favourite episode. Please excuse the quality... the video quality that is:
Happy childhood memories. RIP, J.
My boys and I used to spend so much time watching these programmes with a Tommy Tippee cup of orange juice and a biscuit for them and a coffee for me. Simpler times. Now my grandchildren are beyond that stage.
ah... that is a shame...
Thanks for the laughs Jeffrey. Loved watching you when I was a kid.
Ah I was sad to hear of his passing, another bit of my childhood gone. Bungle was my favourite.
Geoffrey. Just for the record.
I can't think how many hours I spent with my littlies having a lovely inoffensive pleasant time. RIP.
I loved Rainbow with a passion, as a kid myself, and then, right at the end of its run, by eldest daughter too. I am amazed to find how affected I am by Geoffrey Hayes' death. A true voice of my childhood. What next, Rod, Jane or Freddie?
I love the fact they made that smutty as heck one for amusement. Couldn't imagine the current crop of Cbeebies presenters doing the same really could you? (Not that I'd knock Cbeebies - it's amazing at what it does compared to the TV absolute dross we watched in the 1980s on Saturday morning telly... which was really really awesome at the time but in hindsight actually pretty terrible)
NOOOOOOOOO! Oh gawd, this has ruined my day. My first HOD was a lovely Geoffrey. I am so depressed. End of a nice, chocolatey-voices, Mr Kipling era of anthropomorphic camp hippos. So sad.
