Right, Lifestyle Cross Media Study - where to start?

Discussion in 'Media studies' started by glitzstar, Feb 23, 2011.

  1. Hello all

I'm teaching AS Media for the first time this year and am not a Media specialist. We've got to grips with Section A now, and the pupils have decided they'd like to do the topic of Lifestyle for Section B. As I understand it, it's a good idea to teach/model an example for them first before they research their own. Does anyone know of any particularly suitable Media texts for this? Is the study based around the same four key concepts as Section A? And is the area for Lifestyle texts pretty broad/open to interpretation?

    Thanks in advance :)
