That's all we're doing at school right now; preparing for GCSEs (Chemistry 2 & 3) and end-of-year KS3 (all 3 Sciences, all 3 years) exams.

I try to mix up the activities so that we don't all die of boredom, but I'm running out of inspiration. I have tried:
    Past papers - solo
Past papers in groups (a bunch of students contribute to the answers)
    Marketplace activity
    Writing their own questions
Long notes, short notes, bullet points

I would really appreciate any stimulating ideas that anybody has.

    Many thanks,

I've been running revision after school for all out Higher candidates together. We booked the Hall and had several staff there, the kids sat in groups.

In addition to the things you've done I
*chopped papers up and used as a relay race
*posted questions around the room and used as a treasure hunt - I had the answers prepped on a powerpoint so we could go through them together
