When things are grim it is possible to cultivate an alter ego online.
Letting the world go by - how long is it possible to do so? [IMG]
And how on earth can you get up the energy and resources to get back to RL?

Give up TES! It's a terrible timewaster and energy sapper. It deludes you into kidding yourself that you are doing something purposeful. It's like fags and drink and can become an obsession.

Reasons to get back to reality:
    • Pay bills
    • Eat
    • Tory b*stards
    • Needing a mug of black coffee in a cafe to watch the world go by

  5. You are not actually on TES . You are in your third year of playing "Better than Life" . You are a "game head" and the quicker you realise that this is not reality the quicker you can return to normal.

  6. isn't that a good reason not to ?

I'm hoping someone else will take care of them, so I can just applaud from the sidelines.
Sidelines just about says it all at the mo', though.
Living online is such a waste of days and days...and procrastination can keep you going for months...

  8. even miss post, who tweets, you-tubes, blogs and video blogs, cannot understand the allure of 'second life'

  9. I understand Giraffe. I've got to the stage when I'd rather be on here ,than talk to people in RL, especially after a day's teaching. I often don't even answer the phone when it rings... .
