Resources on Alexander Graham Bell/Invention of the Telephone?

Discussion in 'Primary' started by CloakandWings, Mar 6, 2011.

  1. We're researching this topic/inventor/invention next week for science week and have to give a class presentation in assembly. I have year 2.

Does anyone know of any resources on this subject? I'm Googling like mad, but not coming up with a whole lot of useful stuff!

    Thanks C x

I agree. Can't seem to find anything helpful. Year 2 also.

I have posters about Bell and the Decibel scale in resources here - but they are aimed at ks2, not ks1:

Are you doing just about the telephone or Bell as an inventor? Could you do something to illustrate the decibel scale (named after Bell)? How we muffle sounds to protect against loud noises?
What about demonstrating how a tin can telephone is made and used?
