Resignation procedure

    In education the norm is to let people know, particularly the head as they will need to be noted as a referee, and you will need to get a day off when you are sucessful (note the when and not if :) positive thoughts!)
    In your case you have a very valid reason and there shouldn't be any bad feeling so try not to worry.

    Thank you - that's really useful. It just seems strange to let someone know that you don't plan to stay much longer! Fingers crossed....

    I found it very odd on my PGCE placement that there were new jobs printouts left on the staffroom table! Takes some getting used to after industry when you have to have do post work drinks for interviews doesn't it?! [​IMG]
