    Dear TheoGriff,
I have been signed off by GP due to the Work Related Stress. I am going to resign. Question is: in my resignation letter should I mention the reason of leaving? E.g. to say “I wish to confirm that I am resigning my post of maths teacher at … school with effect from 1rs May 2016 due to the Work Related Stress, my last day of employment will thus be 30th April 2016”?
    Can you advise please?
    Many thanks!

Hullo @Happywen . I'm sorry that things have got to this unhappy stage for you.

Glad to see that you have noted my resignation letter advice for thw ording. I'll just put it here for anyone else wondering

    Letter: resigning a teaching job

I ask myself here a question in return. Well, I suppose that actually I am not asking myself, but asking you . . .

Why? What would be the aim of stating this?

Because I cannot see any reason for it, but perhaps you can.

    Best wishes
