My Y6s usually go to PGL in June for a week except this year because of cost very few are going. Is there anywhere else we could go for a week and be cheaper than £300? The parents can't afford this and as all we ever done is PGL, I don't know where to start looking. We're in Gloucestershire - any suggestions gratefully received!

We are going to Kingswood. We are taking them over the weekend though! Its costing £90 per child and thats for supply for Friday aft and Monday, the coach, kingswood cost and a little petty cash for a treat like ice cream.

  7. If you're near Gloucester, there is Viney Hill in the Forest of Dean. http://www.vineyhilladventure.org/
I went with year 5 in Oct. We did 3 days and 2 nights and used the house but they have camping space and huts for the teachers to sleep in. We only did activities in the grounds such as team building, low ropes, climbing wall and crate stack and we did a night hike in the woods which freaked out quite a lot of them but they still did it and were all so proud of themselves! They also do canoing trips and some more adventurous things as well.
