Request for flexible working

    I am under the same dilemna that you have posted about... how did you resolve the situation and also please can you me ideas as to what you wrote on the form?

    Particuarly if you're secondary, if it matters that you do three full days rather than 0.6 scattered through the week, it's worth putting in something to that effect. If the request is just 0.6, they could say yes, and then present you with a timetable of five partial days, costing you a fortune in childcare. In primary, they could give you mornings only. Some nurseries charge almost as much for a morning as for a full day.
