Reports

Discussion in 'Supply teaching' started by Saredycat, Jan 27, 2012.

  1. I have been at the school for a number of weeks now and will be for the next few too. Reports are coming up - am I supposed to be doing these?? It is a secondary school.

Presumably nobody else has been teaching that subject to those pupils while you have been there, so if you don't do them, who will? Probably the HOD, who is also the person who's going to be giving your agency feedback on your placement.
You may get diferent answers on what a supply teacher should and shouldn't be doing, but at the end of the day, what you agree or refuse to do is up to you.

  3. I did all the reports last summr term when I was full time in that class. It was difficult as I hadn't been there the rest of the year but it had to be done.
