removing kids from PLASC then putting them back on

  1. It is correct that if you remove the students at PLASC, they will not count as part of the GCSE cohort, potentially giving a boost to the league table figures.

    But if the students are not on roll, the school's funding will be reduced. That's a pretty expensive way of buying league table places.

    As for the Head only thinking about how to make the figure look good.... I suspect that attitude is more common than you might think.
