From an early age we bombard learners with information but at no time do we ever teach children how to remember efficiently or effectively. I believe that teaching students, of any age, memory skills is a cost effective way of improving attainment and empowering young minds. Having a good memory increases the attention span, improves confidence and encourages positive social interaction.

I'd like to see memory techniques integrated into the curriculum in primary and secondary schools; what are your thoughts on this?

I think that the curriculum is overcrowded as it is so if this is something standalone that I’d be expected to teach above and beyond what I do already, then I’d be asking the question; what do you want me to leave out?
