    Just had an e-mail from a consultant in another office. I could re- locate hundreds of miles on the off chance they could send me for interview - in a less populated area.

    Perhaps I should ask what expenses the agency would be willing to pay....

    Was this asking you to relocate to Yorkshire, where, apparently, teaching jobs are plentiful? if so, I had one of those, this morning, too. B*ll*cks!

    @Deirds. Perhaps, Nicky Morgan has heard that you are an elite teacher and wants to parachute you to a failing 'coastal' school?

    Snowyhead, alas, no, my closest friends would not describe me as an elite teacher...

    Nearmiss, I've only been to Lowestoft to catch a ferry in the dead of night so I couldn't comment...

    My husband wasn't impressed when I passed on the news...I hope he realised I wasn't taking it at all seriously...
