reliving a childhood holiday

Discussion in 'Early Years' started by hyssop_puppy, Aug 9, 2011.

  1. I've brought my daughter to my mum's home town in Germany.
She never met my mum, so it's a real voyage of discovery for her.
But it's really hard trawling my memory to show her the important stuff.
My two older sisters are here but our memories of the place don't always coincide!!
Hoping to go to Hameln (Hamlyn) tomorrow. Only went there once as a child, so we can just be tourists!!!

    Happy holidays everyone!

  3. Have a lovely time! Enjoy the memories!

  4. Back in Blighty now!!
Hameln was a beautiful town, but the museum was shut and the special clock telling the story of the pied piper was being refurbished. So much for seeing the tourist stuff!!
    Still had a great time!

  5. Glad you had a good time despite the refurbishment!!
