    Cook it with cider vinegar and some apple...and freeze it for Christmas Dinner.

    Braise it and then freeze it...I think there was a thread on here a while ago.

    Yep. Then have it Christmas day.
    Wouldn't mind your slow cooker recipe for chicken and red cabbage if you'd be kind enough to post it.
