Discussion in 'Primary' started by milliecat, Dec 21, 2011.

  1. Hello I am new to this age range and need some ideas for extended provision for maths lessons linked to our topic of fairytales. So far I have thought of -
Gingerbread men from playdough - different sizes
Building castles from duplo with certain no of bricks/ colours of bricks
Use multilink to make beanstalks of different lengths
Use gummi shapes to make house for the 3 little pigs
    Weighing a golden egg

    Any more much appreciated!

Draw the setting on square grids.

Sort lots of pictures, use hoops to make the sets.

How many different arrangements of coloured buttons on the gingerbread man.

Measuring how far from Cinderella's home to the castle...have to have pictures set up somewhere.
