    hi All,

I have been invited to teach a 20 minute session to 24 reception children on addition and I’m unsure of the best way to do this.
I have planned a quick intro of number recognition, then using these numbers to make a number line on the carpet to model with children adding and counting on
Followed by 4 activities, 2 adult led

But I know this is a lot for 20 minutes, I want to show I can plan for different play based and adult led activities but also worried if I try too much I’ll run out of time without leaving a good impression

    What would others do? Thanks

I’ve probably missed your interview but my advice is that it’s always better to do one or two things really well and then when they ask you in the interview how you think it went, you can expand upon what you might have done if there had been time.
