Reading scheme for KS1 and KS2

    We use ORT...wish we used read, write, inc as a reading scheme or some other scheme linked to phonics learning.

    One of my class is working on phase 4 of L&S, and was given a reading books today where she had to read words like enough...hmmmm! Another is at phase 5 and was given a 'Cat in the Hat' book to read as is off the reading scheme. She finished it in 5 mins flat and found all words easy! TAs sort reading books in my school, not sure I approve, but I can't change everything in the first couple of weeks.

    Project X (phonics in earlier stages)
    Sounds and Letters Floppy Phonics
    Bug Club
    Phonic Bugs
    Big cat Phonics
    Rigby Star phonics
    Rag tag Rhymes
    Rapid Readers
    ORT All Stars

    We have mainly Ginn360 & ORT Project X Treetops, Myths & Legends, Graphic Novels & Classics in KS2
