  2. I work in a trail school for rising stars we currently get free rising stars resources and try out new resources before they are realised and review them.
I have just reviewed rising stars assessment for reading and english for year 3 both of which are very child friendly and good assessemnt tools. Although I have found them very generous with levels.
Quality teaching should be day to day assessemnts of reading realted to assessment focuses rather than just relying on tests for information though.
But to support your day to day assessments Rising stars is good.
