    Hi everyone

I am reading coordinator at my school and I am looking for some ideas about how we can assess reading in KS2, particularly for sending readings books of a correct level home. We currently use PM Benchmark in KS1 which works brilliantly, and the data is very accurate (it matches to our end of KS1 data well). In KS2 we are currently using Accelerated Reader, and I don’t feel that the assessments are accurate enough to ensure that we are giving pupils the correct level of book. Do any schools have a system that they would recommend? Ideally I’m looking for something that doesn’t rely on iPads or computers too much as our technology is not great! Thanks
