Can anyone recommend a reading test that gives a reading age at KS2?
We use the new Salford sentence reading and comprehension test. It gives a reading age and a reading comprehension age.
Many schools use PIRA which is a separate KS2 test
The Suffolk Reading Scale, which takes about 30 minutes to administer. It can be done online or in hard copy. Gives an age-adjusted standardised score or a reading age based on the raw score.
I'm in the same predicament my old tried and trusted MIRA and ILA have now all run out of scripts... I've discovered they are no longer obtainable. Which one is best to replace it? Thanks
Horses for courses I think, We use PIRA as there are three tests for each year group and gives standardised and age standardised scores
