Read Write Inc Spelling Handbook

Discussion in 'Primary' started by Shazzypops, Jan 16, 2012.

  1. I already use a lot of RWI resources, but adapt to our school's existing reading scheme. Just wondering...Is the Spelling handbook worth purchasing & using on it's own? Or, does it need to have all the little workbooks with it?

When I used to do RW I used to use the spelling handbook for homework - photocopying the relevant 'sound' page for the children. There were several different pages related to a sound so I also used to sometimes use them as an extra piece of work for those that finished. I wouldn't, however, have bought the range of small handbooks.
  3. Thank you. I'll probably get the spelling handbook, but only on its own.[IMG]
