I offer OCR Manufacturing at GCSE level, its great for our pupils as the coursework is more focused on making and designing than all the planning side of things, also the exam is straight forward.... and is based on themes from the two coursework tasks. With manufacturing the pupils or teachers get to select any area of DT for their practical coursework tasks, they can even mix the different subject areas together to create a product.

I am interested to hear if you found any KS5 courses as I am looking for something different, I cant do product design as my school is part of a consortium and this is already offered. I dont want to go down the BTEC rout (I think its too much work for the teacher) are there any other
