Re-branding!! Another name for restructuring?

Discussion in 'Workplace dilemmas' started by shy anne, Jun 3, 2012.

  1. My dept is being 're-branded' now that the Team Leader has
resigned/taken a CA and I am a bit nervous over my future as although I
am Second in Dept and have been holding the fort since January, I have
no desire to apply for the new job. I downsized my job when I came here
as Scond in Dept having worked as SLT for a few years at a different
school and do not want the stress and workload again. I did ask my Head
if he saw a role for me in the new look department or should I look for
another job and he said there would be a job for me - but with some
changes in responsibility! So feeling rather depressed that my final
years in teaching ( I am 56 this year) might be spent under too much
    pressure.
