I have applied for a job as a subject leader within a science department. The closing date was yesterday but have just received an email informing that they will be re-advertising the position and my application will be considered after the new closing date.

Any ideas on why they would have done this? My thought was not enough applicants????? Given that they've kept my applicaton does that mean I'm still in with a shot or does the fact that they feel the need to re-advertise mean that I'm not what theyre looking for really?

    Hate the waiting game!

    Any thoughts appreciated. Thank you

Not enough quality applications yet. If they’ve said you will be considered then that sounds positive.
