  1. Just wondering what others think? In my Reception class of 30 children, the TA covers PPA on her own. Also when something else is happening in another year group in the school for example a trip, my TA has to go and help and i am left on my own for the whole day with 30 reception children, which includes when they come in in mornings and leave at end of school day. This sometimes also includes staying in classroom with them when they are eating packed lunches. Would like to know if this happens in other reception classes...

The legal ratio is 1-30 so although it isn't easy to follow EYFS with those numbers it is perfectly acceptable. sorry
