Raising standards interview question

Discussion in 'Primary' started by mrswindows54, Jun 28, 2011.

  1. I have been given a topic of pupil engagement and raising standards to discuss during an primary teacher interview.

    I have thought of

    Assessment and tracking.
Developing a curriculum around children's needs.
Effective use of of TAs. Anyone got any other ideas?

Innotivative curriculum = engagement = rise in standards. There is lots of info out there about this. Then go onto things like Assessment, Afl, marking, target setting and interventions. Effective use of TA also important. You could also discuss parental involvement but this one probably depends on catchment area!
