Hi, I've been teaching 1/R for the last two years, but still haven't found the 'perfect' timetable/structure/management. Trouble with me is I've recently taken a bash to my confidence in my personal life and I think it's transferring to my teaching...not that my confidence in my teaching was ever great anyway. I have a reception class at my school, me as 1/R and then a year 1 class also. These are sorted pretty much by age, not ability/maturity, and I feel a bit 'stuck in the middle', being unable to teach like my reception colleague, or like my year 1 colleague (who's fairly formal for year 1) - I try to use the best of both strategies. Anyone got experience of this, and I'd love to hear from anyone who's gone through Ofsted in a mixed 1/R class recently?
    Thanks! :)
