quick question regarding interviews.....

Discussion in 'Teaching assistants' started by jennybenny25, Jul 2, 2011.

  1. Hey all!

Was wondering if you find out if after the interview they tell you got the job there and then on the day like teaching jobs or do you wait normal time?

and is it just an interview or do you support in a lesson so they can see if your good?

    many thanks!

    xx

Usually you'll be interviewed by 2 or 3 people who will be interviewing a range fo candidates so it is likely the interviews will take all day and then they will take some time to discuss and make a decision. This is also what happens with teacher interviews in most cases now so it is far more likely in either case you'll have a phone call early evening to let you know if you've been succesful - and in quite a few cases the call may be made the next day.
We've had so many applicants fo assistants at my school that we've decided to do one and a half days of interviews this time!!
