Questions questions...

  1. 1. Do senior leaderships posts have to be advertised internally or does the head teacher have the right to just give it to someone?
    2. What is the main difference between an Assistant Head (we have 3) and a Senior Leader (we have 6, 3 are also Assistant Heads) ?

  3. Personnel would advise you to open all internal posts to all to be fair to everyone but I don't think there is employment law around this. The Assistant Head bit must have a rationale. Are some of them dept heads and others not eg SENCO, English lead etc.? Why don't you ask?
