question re Promethean use

Discussion in 'Primary' started by Gila, Jan 8, 2012.

  1. I haven't used a Promethean IWB for ages, but will have to in an upcoming interview lesson, so here's my question: If is use a powerpoint, will I be able to write/make notes on it with a Promethean board? I know it uses just one pen, but what do I need to do to ensure I can write on top of the images on my Powerpoint? Hope this doesn't sound too stupid...

Yes, even if the board is using AP or AS3 - desktop annotation is built in.

Does the board lose the annotations once you flip onto another PPT page?

I think it does in AP3 but not in ActivInspire which keeps annotations on a transparent flipchart page.

Just a quick question - what is Activinspire and is it worth getting?
