Question about registers as legal documents

Discussion in 'Secondary' started by davidsweet, Nov 7, 2011.

  1. Am i right in thinking that the only legal registers that schools have to do are a single morning and a single afternoon register?
Any others are (eg every single lesson on SIMS) are purely internal school documents and NOT legal documents?
    your help is appreciated.

Correct, a school just has to register the children twice a day for the morning session and for the afternoon session.
I'm 99.9% sure that primary schools don't register for lessons, and only one of the 4 secondary schools I've worked in has.
