I'm in the process of writing a teacher only "need to know" resources Python to supplement the lessons I've produced; I'll put the materials into my 9-1 bundles when they are finished.

My brother is a experienced programmer. His daughter got a bad mark from her ICT teacher for some HTML thing. Turns out she knew more about HTML than the teacher did. The teacher marked her down out of spite. My brother met with teacher and hod. Teacher cried a bit then resigned. He was a Geography teacher with a HTML book. The real villain here is English state education and I will not waste any more of my time on it.

No, the real villain is the school SLT that put the HoD in a position where they had to rely on a Geography teacher to teach HTML. We have occasions where non-specialist teach some lessons, but we always try to avoid any year group where they can do damage.
