Pupils’ bad behaviour is ‘bringing the profession to its knees’

    The top 10 to 20 percent of violent/persistent disruptees often have a range of needs associated with their behaviour.
    This puts SLT at an unfair advantage when sanctimoniously telling their staff to be more ‘understanding’ of their persistent behaviour issues whilst following the behaviour policy ‘strictly’ for other children, at the same time as blaming and threatening them with pay cuts and capability when the results of entire year groups go down because of their wishy washy policies set in sinking sand never mind stone!
    No one in their right managerial minds should undermine teacher authority in the classrooms and then demand to see progress but here it is done all the time.

    .....and on another thread, apparently the 'audit culture' is causing staff burn out! That's only a fraction of the burn out problem.
