Quick question, if pupil premium money is being spent on an intervention teacher, should children who are not PP access the support from the intervention teacher paid by PP funding?
I have 9 pp children but only 1 accesses this teacher.
    Please advise?

Hi there. Sometimes the PP funding can provide an intervention that will benefit other children and not just those for whom PP is received. However, you would be expected to show how money is spent and how it has benefitted the children it is there for. So if your PP money is going towards something that your PP children are not accessing then it doesn't seem right. Sometimes schools forget that interventions are best put in place early and children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds do less well in the EYFSP and never catch up. I'd be looking at your previous data to see how well children receiving PP did on their profile in previous years and then take it from there.
