40 children, 6 adults (all CRB checked, one is breakfast club leader, all parents). Is there any need for teaching staff to be there? Or Headteacher?

  3. Ask the person who risk assesses this stuff. It is not necessary as long as their risk assessment shows that they know what to do in case of emergency. As it is on school premises you still have a responsibility for the safety of the children.

  4. I always have a senior member of staff present at our PTA discos, just in case there are any issues such as sick child/accident/health & safety. The staff have access to the emergency contact details for the pupils. The children behave better too!
