PSYA4 - R.M - Do we still teach induction / deduction and paradigms?

Discussion in 'Social sciences' started by kris101, May 1, 2012.

  1. Hello evyerone. I wonder if you can help me with a query. This is regards PSYA4 - Research Methods.
    The spec change document says;
    'generation of laws and principles are no longer required'
    The main spec document says;
    Under 'The application of scientific method in psychology' that 'theory construction' should be taught.
    My question is; Do I still teach Induction / deduction and the role of paradigms?
    many thanks
    Chris
