Promethean screen and eyesight

I use the Promethean screen in most of my lessons and I'm starting to be worried about the effect on my eyes. It is really bright and my eyes are so close to it when writing. Has anybody experience eye strain because of these screens? I guess I can reduce the brightness but still.

Ask your IT Manager to look at it. You are entitled to a free eye test too, if you want to see an optician.

Have you had a DSE assessment? Display Screen Equipment.

My optician has reported an increase in children being referred since the use of IWBs was introduced.

The screens likelarge TVs don’t worry me. Standing in the glare of the long throw projectors seemed problematic to me.
