Progressive School Interview

Discussion in 'Independent' started by feejen, Feb 11, 2011.

  1. Hiya!

I have an interview at a "progressive school" on Monday - I am a bit thrown, for starters I don't know what I'm teaching yet.
Also, what do I wear? Will I be over-dressed in a suit?
How do I tailor my lesson for max impact? Will they want whizz-bang, or independent learning or a 3 part lesson or are they simply looking at how I interact with the pupils and how I get my information across?
Oh plus, I've been told that I can contact the HoD over the weekend.... Should I do that and look keen, or should I let him have his weekend off?
    Any comments welcome! :)
    Thanks in advance.

I think this is the person who could tell you what you need to know.
