What a strange thread title.... What are you trying to say Artboy? You are leaving us guessing...

Are you trying to say that nationalism and tribalism is an expected response to large scale terrorist attacks? Is this a Good Thing or a Bad Thing? You're going to have to stop being so secretive!

I haven't met a French person who wasn't 'Pro-France', whichever party they usually vote for.

Yeah, in the expectation (disappointed) of some less reflexive and predictable responses. "The NF did well but that's because all the people who voted for them are evil, ignorant, misled by the media, racist, xenophobic, nationalist or any other blanket smear term we can label them to close the discussion without having to consider the implications of what just happened blah blah...."

The French tend to be very patriotic whether right or left in their viewpoints. It is without doubt a reaction to the immigrant crisis and the terrorism recently visited upon them that they have voted to curb such excess. I am not the least surprised and it may pan-out as a good move politically, I am no doubt that time will tell.

    Yes,

As Hilary Benn said so eloquently, we are now standing shoulder to shoulder against fascism, with, er, people who are voting for, er, fascists.

Yep. Absolutely no respect for anyone who votes for this kind of thing, or supports it in any way, shape or form.

    Not here thank you

It looks like the social experiment has backfired big-time. How many advocators will admit the fundamental flaws?
