Indeed. The hypocrisy just keeps mounting.
the good old ‘it was just a joke’ defence.
This thread is about Priti Patel and I have simply stated that the allegations should be robustly investigated. You keep trying to bring her sex into it. However you have posted employing misogyny during the many years you have been here.
Unsurprising in his case.
You're EXCELLENT at making unfounded, offensive assumptions.
Please withdraw that comment, which is patently untrue.
Nosey Matron posted that message
But @chelsea2 was accused of condoning it.
Withdrawn with the greatest of pleasure.
I'm just surprised none of you expressed your displeasure. Some even 'liked' the post.
I am glad that you disagree with such vile abuse.
I think it's possible to agree that she comes across as an unpleasant character and that it isn't unreasonable to doubt her competence while accepting that the actual post was abusive in its language.
Still I think withdrawing your allegation was probably a wise move.
Who managed to successfully divert this thread from the discussion about the behaviour of a single individual into characteristic traits of the genders? It the old divide and conquer technique in action. You might just as well argue about two flies walking up a wall.
The best lessons I recall, from my time as ta senior school Duke, were those in which the teacher allowed free reign, as opposed to today's Ofsted tunnels.
I'm sure they were more entertaining, @Kandahar, but did they tick the boxes?
A long time before Ofsted and corporate production line of grades above all else. Rugby and music were the main motivations for staff and pupils alike.
If it’s true, is it a stereotype?
That is so ridiculous I won't even enter into discussion about it.
Wooo it's International Women's Day... I wonder what TES is doing?
Oh... still bashing a British Indian woman...
Nothing new then...
Are there some posts since midnight that I can't see then?
In other words, do stereotypes not have to have an element of truth for them to exist in the first place?
