Primary teacher - What to do this summer?

Discussion in 'Teaching abroad' started by poshest, Jul 6, 2015.

  1. Hi all,

I'm an experienced primary teacher and school middle leader staring down the barrel of a 6.5 week holiday. I don't fancy frittering it away uselessly so wondered if any one had a good idea about teaching or voluntary appointments I could do? All ideas considered! But I don't want to pay a company any fee or do a Tefl course.

    Would really appreciate any ideas!

I am anticipating frittering mine away uselessly, like last year. I will watch this thread for ideas!

Come to Malaysia. There is at least one Myanmar refugee school that I know which would love to have a volunteer teacher, especially primary, to help.

The standard summer activity many years ago was to sit in a darkened cupboard eating grapes.

  5. Thanks. Which school is that?
