Could anyone please provide me with inspiration regarding new songs for this term. Children seem to really like up to date material which they can relate to which is fine by me but I'm struggling to come up with anything appropriate! Last year songs we sang included Viva la Vida, True Colours, Budapest, Count on Me which all went down quite well. Any suggestions welcome!

Also as a matter of interest, do choir teachers tend to completely drop songs whcih have been sung duiring the previous year? I usually do as I assume children have had enough of singing them!

Do you have access to Sing Up? Lots of lovely songs on there. You could use one or two past songs as warm ups, but genenerally I find that the children like to learn new songs.
